Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mason.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.

• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces to be covered.
• Cut or break bricks, stones or blocks to size using hand tools or machines.
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels or other tools.
• Lay bricks, stones or blocks in rows or patterns according to blueprints.
• Fill gaps between bricks or stones with mortar and remove excess mortar.
• Repair cracks or chips in concrete structures.
