Fitter Technician in Gujrat, India

We are hiring a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Gujrat, India. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing and maintaining mechanical systems and machinery in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards. Your role will involve working closely with other team members to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, motors, and compressors according to blueprints and technical specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns or malfunctions
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement in production processes
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs
• Operate hand and power tools safely to complete tasks efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
