Job summary

HRSI is seeking a Financial Regulatory Reporting Officer / Analyst to prepare and submit regulatory reports to the State Bank of Pakistan, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role requires coordinating with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and IT to gather data and maintain audit trails, while supporting audits and implementing regulatory changes.

Minimum 3–5 years in financial/regulatory reporting within banks or financial institutions, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA (part-qualified), CFA, or FRM will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports/returns to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) within prescribed timelines.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all financial and regulatory submissions.
• Reconcile regulatory reports with financial statements and internal systems.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation within reporting processes.
• Coordinate with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and IT teams to gather required data for reporting purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of Basel-related reports (e.g., capital adequacy, liquidity coverage ratio, leverage ratio).
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all regulatory submissions.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required data and explanations.
• Identify process gaps and recommend automation/improvements in reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and governance standards.

Education
