FP&A & Analytics Onsite Full-Time 1 to 2 Years Experience

The Value Core is a corporate finance advisory firm helping startups and mid-market companies across the GCC, UK, and South Asia make sharper financial decisions. We work at the intersection of financial modeling, business analytics, and strategic advisory, and we take precision seriously.

The Role

We are looking for a Financial Modeler to join our growing FP&A and Analytics practice. You will build, maintain, and stress-test financial models for a range of client engagements: from three-statement models and LBO structures to scenario analyses and valuation workbooks. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role suited to someone with a strong accounting foundation and a genuine appetite for learning.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain three‑statement financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for client engagements
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and investment decisions
• Prepare business valuation models using DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions
• Support the delivery of board‑ready financial reports and investor‑facing materials
• Reconcile model outputs against actuals and flag variances with clear commentary
• Work closely with senior team members to understand client context and refine model assumptions
• Maintain model documentation and version control to ensure accuracy and reproducibility

What We Are Looking For

• 1 to 2 years of experience in financial modeling, accounting, audit, or a related finance role
• Strong accounting knowledge: understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling best practices
• Clear written and spoken English, able to communicate model logic and findings without jargon
• A collaborative, curious mindset, someone who asks the right questions and takes feedback well
• Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to different client industries and problem types
• Attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work before submitting

Nice to Have

• Exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Sheets for financial reporting
• Experience with valuation or transaction support work
• Part‑qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CMA, or equivalent)
