Job summary

HR Ways is hiring an Assistant Manager Finance for an onsite role in Karachi. The candidate will manage comprehensive finance functions including payroll, tax compliance, statutory returns, and coordination with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

Required is at least 2 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. Location is Industrial area, Karachi; schedule is Mon to Sat, 9AM to 6PM. Salary is market competitive.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Finance and Accounting.
• Experience with payroll records and changes in job titles, departments, and related payment structures.
• Familiarity with Provident Fund & Gratuity Fund rules.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting concepts (TDS, income tax statements).

Responsibilities

• Record and ensure timely, accurate financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles.
• Update payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in titles, departments, and payment structures.
• Maintain Provident Fund & Gratuity Fund records and organize validation meetings.
• Handle personal income tax return related tasks for individuals.
• Submit statements for salary payments under tax regulations and for employee returns.
• Review deductions (TDS, VDS) for accuracy and issue tax certificates.
• Submit various tax-related returns and assist with company tax and related appeals.
• Check Mushak 9.1 monthly returns and support transfer pricing audit tasks.
• Prepare cash flow statements, forecasts, and financial position reports.
