Job summary

Tajir is seeking a Finance Executive to lead the end-to-end monthly close, reconciliations, budgeting, and reporting. You will work across teams, strengthening controls and taking ownership from day one.

The ideal candidate is a CA finalist or ACCA, well-versed in IFRS, IAS, and local tax laws, and proficient with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets. Strong communication and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• CA Finalist or ACCA required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS and local tax laws.
• Proficient with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end monthly close, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting and departmental accounts.
• Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, journals, accruals, and classifications, resolving discrepancies before reporting.
• Implement and maintain payment and bookkeeping controls, driving process improvements and automation.
• Prepare and monitor the monthly cash budget, review variances and approve budget variances.
• Manage finance aspects of vendor agreements, including incentives, rebates, back margins, and timely settlements.
• Manage other revenue end-to-end, from invoicing and tracking to timely settlement.
• Support statutory audits and coordination with the audit team.
• Assist leadership with ad-hoc analyses and non-routine projects.
