Job summary

RetailHub Sourcing in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking a Facade Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to design and manage facade projects. You will collaborate with architects and contractors, prepare drawings and reports, and ensure compliance with standards.

The role requires a civil engineering background, strong CAD skills, and the ability to oversee installation and address any issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in facade engineering or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team and clients.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or other drafting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan building facades based on project requirements and budget.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed facades.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other professionals to ensure standards and regulations are met.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and reports for facade projects.
• Oversee installation to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to design plans.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure facade is functioning properly and make repairs or improvements.
