Job summary

JazzWorld is seeking an experienced OSS Operations & Support Expert to manage day-to-day OSS, EMS, and Service Desk platforms. You will oversee automation, device strategy, and cost-efficient modernization initiatives, coordinating with suppliers to meet strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in NOC/OSS, deep knowledge of OSS platforms, and proficiency with Office 365 Copilot, Power Automate, and emerging AI tools. Strong collaboration and pressure handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates have OSS/Service Desk platform experience in telco contexts.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and on-prem ITSM platforms and APIs.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Kubernetes, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in databases, REST/SOAP, and full-stack development basics.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day OSS/EMS/Service Desk operations and planning.
• Oversee platform transformations and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Provide tech support for Service Desk and OSS platforms including Power Automate.
• Propose strategies for modernization and risk mitigation of NOC platforms.
• Coordinate with suppliers, sourcing, and ensure timely delivery.
• Explore emerging technologies for cutting-edge deployments.

What are Specialist OSS Operations & Support?

Specialist OSS Operations & Support is responsible for managing Operations, Support & Planning of various Platforms deployed on OSS, EMS, Automation Platforms, AI flows & Underlying Layers along with Service Desk platforms in use across the Organization.

The role reports directly to the Manager OSS.

What does Expert OSS Planning & Architecture do?

• Handle day-to-day operations of OSS, EMS, Service Desk, OWS, Automation & other related platforms.
• Device strategy to oversee smooth operations & transformation of Service Desk Platforms in use across organization.
• Provide Technology functional support for smooth running of Service Desk and OSS Platforms including Power Automate.
• Work on proposals / strategies to improve cost efficiencies.
• Tactical Planning & Execution to ensure risk mitigation and sustainability of NOC Platforms.
• Keep close contact with Supplier / Partner Teams to ensure smooth operations of NOC Platforms.
• Liaise with Sourcing / Procurement teams to ensure timely delivery enabling NOC to meet strategic & transformational objectives.
• Ensure continuous exploration & discovery of emerging technologies / platforms for potential adoption enabling cutting edge deployments & modernization for NOC.
• Planning innovative and cutting-edge solutions to handle organization fast paced requirements.

• Experience and Educational requirements
• BE/BS/MS (Electronics, Electrical, Telecoms, Comp Science, AI, Data Sciences) 4+ years for Expert Role.
• Have demonstrated capability of working in NOC and OSS Environment.
• In depth experience of working on diverse OSS & Service Desk Platforms in a Telco Environment.
• Have good insight on emerging technologies and prevailing industry norms / standards.
• Experience of deployment of OSS, Network and Service Desk Platforms through the delivery lifecycle from initial design to full operational handover.
• Have sound knowledge of all relevant technologies as well as ample knowledge of Office 365 Suite including Copilot, Power Automate.
• Have sound knowledge of all relevant technologies as well as ample knowledge of Claude, AI Engineering, Data Science,
• Have good understanding of IP Networks, IT Networks, Cloud Networks, Fintech Solutions, APM and related technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure

What are we looking for and what does it need to be?

Skills Required

• Hands on Experience of Cloud based & On Prem ITSM & Digital Workflow platforms like ServiceNow, Atlassian.
• Comprehensive Full Stack Development Skills.
• DevOps Expertise on any proven environment i.e. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Tanzu or any public cloud.
• Microsoft Power Automate Expertise or n8n.
• Profound Experience on Python/Nodejs/Java/JavaScript/jQuery/C#, asp.net and other JS Libraries.
• Expertise in GraphQL, gPRC and LLM’s.
• Proven Experience of LLM’s handling.
• In depth understanding of REST / SOAP APIs and creation of APIs
• Strong Experience of MS SQL, MongoDB, Postgress, Vertica DB.
• Experience of CSS/Bootstrap and HTML.
• Hands on Exp of cross technology Mobile App Dev, Tools like Flutter.
• Good understanding of ITIL Processes & Related industry standards.
• Contribute to Project documentation and user guides
