As an Excavator Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery specifically excavators to perform tasks such as digging trenches, grading land and loading material. You will need to have a thorough understanding of the equipment and its capabilities as well as the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. Safety is of utmost importance in this role so you must adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate the excavator efficiently and safely following all safety protocols
• Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine proper excavation techniques
• Dig trenches, grade land and load material according to project requirements
• Conduct daily maintenance checks on equipment before use
• Communicate with other team members on-site to ensure smooth operation of tasks
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues immediately

Requirements
