A reputable manufacturing company in Karachi is seeking a skilled and dedicated Entry-Level Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to fuse metal parts together, ensuring the quality and strength of the welds.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings to determine welding specifications
• Measure and mark workpieces using rulers, squares, or templates to ensure accurate welds
• Set up welding equipment according to specifications, including selecting the appropriate welding method and adjusting settings
• Operate welding equipment to fuse metal parts together by using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
• Inspect completed welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Clean and maintain welding equipment regularly to keep it in good working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and wear protective gear at all times while performing welding tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Proven experience as a Welder or completion of a formal training program in welding preferred
• Understanding of different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with various hand tools and measuring instruments used in welding
