Job summary

Dawlance is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software using C/C++. The role requires applying object-oriented design principles to build scalable, modular software.

Qualifications

• Collaborate closely with hardware, system, testing, and validation teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues through effective debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in embedded systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++ development.
• Solid understanding and practical application of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Shell scripting for automation and development support.
• Proven experience in embedded software optimization, including performance, memory, and resource optimization.
• Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Repo, debugging tools, and software development workflows.
