Job description

Translation Empire PK is looking for a Dutch Interpreter and Translator in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. We are currently recruiting for Dutch interpreters and translators based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the healthcare, legal, educational, immigration & refugee services.

Established in 2001, Translation Empire PK provides professional interpreting and translation services to both the government, public, and private sectors across organizations around the globe.

The Job

Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and reproducing content in the original ‘source’ language, then translating into the ‘target’ language with 100% accuracy.

Your Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Deal with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider

Requirements

• Fluent in English or another language
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification
• Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
• Required to sign and agree to a surety bond.
• Required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
