The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Pakistan is seeking drivers (SB-1/SC1) to support the Green Climate Fund project across duty stations. The role emphasizes safe driving, vehicle upkeep, and logistical support for field activities.

Applicants should have a middle education, a valid Pakistani driving licence, and at least 5 years of INGO experience. English/Urdu proficiency and local language knowledge are required; Pakistani nationals or residents with work permits are eligible.

Competenze

Minimum qualification: middle.
Valid driving licence to drive 04-wheel vehicles in Pakistan.
At least 5 years of driving experience in INGO or well-reputed offices.
Working knowledge of English and Urdu with knowledge of regional languages.
National of Pakistan or resident with valid work permit.

Mansioni

Drive assigned official vehicle within duty station and outstation missions.
Clean the official vehicle daily.
Perform daily and weekly checks of vehicles and maintain maintenance records.
Update maintenance status to fleet supervisor.
Take vehicle to workshop for repairs and maintenance as needed.
Ensure safe driving and safety of passengers during travel.
Park vehicles safely at offices and during missions.
Maintain comprehensive vehicle logbook of usage.
Provide support in local duties like banking, delivering letters and materials to other offices.
Follow and implement driver responsibilities per maintenance logbook.
