Job summary

The candidate will read project specifications, prepare delivery lists, and verify documents while handling complex I&C drawings and instrumentation layouts using industry tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil

Qualifications

• DAE Electrical or Diploma in Drafting/CAD/Civil 3D is required.
• 8 to 16 years of experience in design and drafting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate, high-quality drawings aligned with project and client standards, using advanced drafting tools.
• Oversee drafting documentation, maintaining compliance with QMS and project requirements.
• Read Project specification, highlight the important points and circulate to design assistants to take care during the preparation of drawings.
• Preparation/verification of deliverable list with respect to drawings.
• Highlight the issues to Engineer found in input drawings during the preparation of drawings
• Reviewing client comments, update the drawings and preparation of compliance statement with responses.
• Able to read P&ID's and extract instrument list, Preparation of IO list, Hook Up Drawings, Cable layouts, Cable Schedule, Interconnection drawings, Loop diagrams, control system architecture drawings, junction box schedule, cable layouts, Instrument location layouts etc.
• Able to work in SPI INTOOLS database tool and deliver I&C engineering & design drawings.

Key Skills:

• Understands Process and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs)
• Preparation of 3D Modelling, clash detection.
• Skilled in the preparation of equipment layouts, control system architecture drawings, Cable layouts, Cable Schedule, Interconnection drawings, junction box schedule, lighting, shielding, earthing, and AC/DC auxiliary systems.
• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard design and analysis software, including CDEGS, Dialux, Building Designer, MicroStation, and AutoCAD, with the ability to apply these tools effectively in complex design scenarios.
• Should have hands-on expertise on Civil 3D Modeling/BIM
