Malik Brothers is a Lahore-based construction company delivering apartment and house projects. We are seeking a Draftsman for MEP to prepare accurate building-services drawings that support coordination, construction, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise MEP drawings for residential apartments and houses, covering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Develop plans, layouts, sections, details, and installation drawings from design information and site requirements.
• Coordinate drawing details with architectural and structural plans, identifying and resolving clashes or inconsistencies.
• Incorporate engineer and project-team comments while maintaining clear drawing revisions and documentation.
• Check drawings for dimensions, annotations, symbols, and consistency with project standards before submission.
• Work with engineers and site teams to clarify drawing requirements and support practical construction coordination.

The role is based in Lahore and contributes to the reliable delivery of Malik Brothers’ residential construction projects. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage drawing updates in response to evolving project needs.

Job Specification

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for producing and editing MEP plans, layouts, sections, and details.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawing conventions for residential buildings.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and coordinate services within building layouts.
• Understanding of drawing scales, dimensions, annotations, symbols, layers, and sheet setup.
• Careful checking skills to identify drafting errors, clashes, and inconsistencies before issue.
• Ability to incorporate markups and technical comments while keeping revisions organized.
• Clear communication with engineers, architects, and construction teams to confirm drawing information.
