Job summary

DAR Engineering, a leading design & engineering consulting organization in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a drafting professional to reinforce the drafting team for T&D projects. You will perform drafting and detailing tasks, ensuring quality and timeliness under the guidance of Lead Engineers.

Responsibilities include coordinating submittals, adhering to QMS standards, and supporting day-to-day department operations to meet project deliverables and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting/detailed drawings for engineering projects.
• Familiarity with QA/QC drawing standards.
• Ability to coordinate with project team and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and detailing works as instructed by Lead Engineer and Engineer.
• Assist project team in relation to project deliverables.
• Ensure timely production and quality of allocated drawings.
• Print and organize submittals with required QMS documentation.
• Coordinate with office staff to complete submittals.
• Record submittal delivery for assigned activities.

Job Purpose

To reinforce drafting team and carry out drafting/ detailing works for T&D projects.

Key Accountability Areas

Responsible for Drafting:

• Drafting, detailing, scheduling as per instruction of Lead Engineer and Engineer.
• Assist project team in relation to project deliverables.
• Ensure timely production & quality of allocated works.
• Responsible for printing and organizing submittals with required QMS documentation.
• Coordinate with the office boys for completionof submittals.
• Record submittal delivery for the assigned activities.

Provide Assistanc:

-Provide assistance to the following:

• The Management as requested.
• The Manager as required.
• The Lead Engineers and Engineers in the development of the project deliverables.
• The Sr. Designer in the development of the drafting standards.
• Assist in day-to-day department operations when necessary.

QA/QC:

• Follow QA/QC drawing standards and exchange information with other disciplines.
• Review of drafting issues and maintain QA/QC records.
• Review drafting in compliance with project requirements.

• Ensure that the operational work should be as per the job description and the required deliverables from this position, taking into consideration the general company guidelines.

• Plans timely to deliver as per schedule. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of outputs. Anticipates any possible roadblocks that might come in the way of delivery and fixes them to meet timelines.
