Job summary

The Aga Khan University Hospital (Pakistan) invites applications for the position of Research Specialist, District Coordinator EPI in the Department of Community Health Sciences. The role focuses on coordinating with District Health Management Teams, EPI and stakeholders to implement assigned activities across Sindh, with travel to programme sites as required.

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Public Health or Epidemiology and possess 5+ years of relevant experience in EPI or public

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology or related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in EPI, polio or public health projects.
Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills.
Experience with government health programmes and district stakeholders.
Familiarity with DHIS2, EMR or SEIR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with District Health Management Teams, EPI and stakeholders for project activities.
Support EPI-Polio activities, micro-planning, centre operations and health-system interventions.
Contribute to workplans, monitoring, evaluation, and technical reports.
Conduct field monitoring, data collection, and observations per project tools.
Review and ensure quality of programme data from DHIS2, EMR, SEIR.
Develop field monitoring plans and share findings with government and project teams.
