Job summary

The National Land Agency is inviting applications for the position of Chief Audit Executive (Level 9, Band 11) in the Internal Audit Unit. The role reports to the CEO/Commissioner of Lands and focuses on establishing internal audit vision, culture, and effective controls across the agency and regional offices.

Responsibilities include ensuring audit work complies with professional standards and building high-performing audit professionals to support GOJ objectives in land titling and information

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 3 qualification.
• Diploma in Supervisory Management.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in auditing or commercial accounting at a senior supervisory level.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the Internal Audit vision and culture in the National Land Agency and its Regional Offices.
• Ensure audit work conforms to Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
• Support the Agency in providing excellent service in Land Titling and Land Information.

Education

Postgraduate Degree in Accounting

ACCA Level 3 qualification

Diploma in Supervisory Management
