Job summary

Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will monitor patient status during and after sessions, assist with dialysate preparation, and uphold strict clinical protocols to support positive outcomes and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• BSMT with 6-month house job training completed.
• MS Office proficiency for documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-dialysis assessments including weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and investigations.
• Prepare the hemodialysis machine by priming the dialyzer with saline or heparinized solution.
• Set up and operate the dialysis machine, assembling the dialyzer and tubing.
• Connect the dialysis machine to the patient’s catheter site to initiate blood circulation.
• Perform AV fistula pricks after supervised attempts, demonstrating vascular access proficiency.
• Carry out post-dialysis assessments to monitor patient status.
• Assist in preparing dialysis solutions as part of the treatment process.
• Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and doctors to ensure seamless dialysis care delivery.
