We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in automating, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, while ensuring the highest levels of security, reliability, and compliance with standards such as HIPAA and SOC 2.
This role requires a professional who can build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor infrastructure performance, and implement security best practices across our cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery across multiple environments.
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
- Implement and monitor security controls in alignment with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other healthcare compliance frameworks.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, logging, and incident management.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes and enhance deployment speed.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, manage access controls, and ensure secure configuration of cloud resources.
- Lead the implementation of security automation and DevSecOps practices across the environment.
- Maintain documentation and audit readiness for compliance certifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role in a production environment.
- Hands‑on expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI).
- Deep knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, and cloud security frameworks.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK Stack.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience.
- Certification(s) in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Security preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working in a regulated industry such as healthcare or finance.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
