Job summary

Byte8 is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and other platforms. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor system performance, and ensure high availability for applications.

You will automate deployments, enforce security best practices, and collaborate with development teams. The role also includes on-call rotations and documenting infrastructure architecture and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DevOps or infrastructure experience.
• Expert knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic).
• Knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Understanding of networking and security best practices.
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
