Peoples Institute of Dental & Oral Health Sciences, PUMHSW-SBA seeks a Dental Surgeon (BPS-17) to provide clinical care at outpatient and surgical clinics. The role requires examinations, diagnoses, fillings, root canals and minor surgeries, under supervision during procedures.

The selection includes verification of BDS, PMDC registration, a 100-mark written test in dentistry and oral interview.

• BDS from PMDC-recognized dental college.

Official employment announcement has been released for the clinical appointment of DENTAL SURGEON (BPS-17) on BPS-17 at Peoples Institute of Dental & Oral Health Sciences, PUMHSW-SBA. This position carries 2 Posts allocated under Sindh Domicile to provide comprehensive clinical dental care at PID&OHS outpatient and surgical clinics.

The daily clinical duties of DENTAL SURGEON (BPS-17) include patient oral examinations, diagnosing dental pathologies, performing restorative fillings, root canal treatments, minor oral surgical extractions, periodontal scaling, patient oral hygiene education, and supervising dental surgery assistants during four-handed clinical procedures.

The candidate selection pathway comprises verification of BDS qualifications and permanent PM&DC registration, followed by a 100-mark written screening test covering clinical dentistry and oral surgery, culminating in an oral interview before the Selection Board.

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a PM&DC recognized dental college with valid permanent PM&DC registration.

Completed mandatory 1-year house job in recognized dental hospital.
