Job summary

Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Informatica PowerCenter Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows, mappings, and data integration processes across enterprise systems. The role focuses on building efficient data pipelines, performing data cleansing and validation, and ensuring reliable data movement from multiple sources to data warehouses.

Candidates should have 3–6 years hands-on Informatica PowerCenter experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with Unix/Linux

Qualifications

• 3–6 years hands-on Informatica PowerCenter experience.
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL or similar).
• Experience with ETL concepts, data warehousing and data integration.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Create and manage mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into data warehouses.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and quality checks.
• Monitor ETL workflows and troubleshoot job failures and production issues.
• Optimize Informatica mappings and workflows for performance and scalability.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.
• Prepare and maintain source-to-target mapping documents and technical documentation.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
• Support data migration, data warehouse, and enterprise data integration projects.
• Coordinate with business analysts, data engineers, database teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support deployment of ETL workflows across development, testing, and production environments.
• Provide production support and resolve data-related issues within agreed SLAs.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong experience with Informatica Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, and Repository Manager.
• Hands‑on experience developing Mappings, Mapplets, Sessions, and Workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Informatica transformations including Lookup, Expression, Aggregator, Joiner, Router, Update Strategy, Sorter, and Source Qualifier.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts, Data Warehousing, and Data Integration.
• Experience with ETL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Fact and Dimension tables, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting is preferred.
• Exposure to Informatica IICS/IDMC is an advantage.
• Experience with data migration and large-volume data processing is preferred.
• Exposure to Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or Kafka is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
