Job summary

Systems Limited is seeking a Data Architect (GCP) to lead the design and implementation of scalable data platforms. You will define enterprise data architecture, drive cloud transformation, and build secure data ecosystems on Google Cloud Platform.

The role requires collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Cloud Data Solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying large-scale data platforms on GCP.
• Proven ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures on GCP.
• Develop scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures to support analytics.
• Lead cloud data migration projects from on-premises to GCP.
• Define enterprise data models, integration frameworks, and data governance standards.
• Architect and optimize batch and real-time data processing pipelines.
• Establish data quality, lineage, metadata management, security and compliance practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining enterprise data architecture, driving cloud transformation initiatives, and building secure, high-performance data ecosystems on Google Cloud Platform. This role requires close collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures to support business and analytical requirements.
• Lead cloud data migration projects from on-premises and legacy systems to GCP.
• Define enterprise data models, integration frameworks, and data governance standards.
• Architect and optimize batch and real-time data processing pipelines.
• Establish best practices for data quality, lineage, metadata management, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Cloud Data Solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying large-scale data platforms on GCP.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and cloud-native design patterns.
• Experience working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Proven ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders at all levels
