Job summary

Datum Labs is seeking a Data Annotator to prepare training and evaluation data for AI and ML projects across the US, UK, and Europe. You will label text, documents, and images, and review AI responses following project guidelines.

Accuracy matters; you will verify your work, flag unclear cases, and ensure consistent labeling across the team. Office work in Lahore-based teams supports a global client base.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in data annotation, data entry, content moderation or similar detail-focused work.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• High attention to detail and patience for repetitive, careful work.
• Comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel, and quick to pick up new web-based tools.
• Ability to follow detailed written guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Label and tag text, documents, images and other data according to project guidelines.
• Review and rate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance and tone (LLM evaluation and RLHF tasks).
• Extract and structure information from documents such as invoices, forms and reports.
• Run quality checks on your own and teammates' work, and correct errors.
• Flag edge cases and unclear instructions, and suggest improvements to annotation guidelines.
• Meet agreed daily targets for volume and accuracy, and keep task trackers up to date.

We are hiring a Data Annotator to help prepare the training and evaluation data behind the AI and machine learning projects we deliver for clients in the US, UK and Europe. You'll label text, documents and images, and review AI-generated responses, following clear guidelines for each project.

Accuracy matters more than speed. Models are only as good as the data they learn from, so you'll check your own work, flag unclear cases and make sure everyone on the team labels the same way.

• Experience with annotation tools such as Label Studio.
