Job summary

Translation Empire is seeking a PEN Tester – Crest Registered (CRT) to join our cybersecurity team. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting on penetration tests across networks, applications, cloud infrastructure, and mobile platforms, delivering actionable remediation guidance to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds CREST CRT or higher certification, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and hands-on testing experience with Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Cobalt Strike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, InfoSec or related field.
• CREST CRT certification or higher is required.
• Experience conducting penetration tests across networks, apps, cloud and mobile.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, NIST and MITRE ATT&CK; familiarity with exploitation frameworks.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell or Bash; strong testing skills (manual & automated).
• Excellent reporting and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report penetration tests against web apps, networks, infrastructure, and databases.
• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to assess business risk.
• Produce high-quality technical reports and executive summaries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate findings and mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on security threats and attack techniques.
• Support security awareness initiatives and internal improvements.
• Provide mentorship to junior testers where applicable.
