Job summary

Game District in Lahore is seeking a Creative Artist with 2–4 years of experience to join our gaming studio on-site.

You will edit long and short form videos, craft motion graphics, 2D/3D assets in Blender, and collaborate with designers and marketing to deliver content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.

Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI tools is preferred, with a strong portfolio of video editing, animation, VFX, and game-ready assets.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in video editing, creative design, or VFX.
• Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in video editing, motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and VFX/compositing.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI prompting for content creation.
• Basic to intermediate Unity knowledge and game workflows.
• A strong portfolio showing video editing, animation, and game-ready assets.

Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver long-form and short-form videos, verticals, and marketing creatives.
• Assemble footage, produce rough cuts, and refine through final delivery.
• Handle color correction, audio cleanup, music/SFX, and basic motion graphics/VFX/titling.
• Create 2D/3D animations and visual assets for games, marketing, and social media.
• Develop concepts, storyboards, and visual treatments based on project briefs.
• Create 3D models/animations in Blender and render outputs.
• Leverage AI/prompts for ideation, generation, and asset creation.
• Optimize content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Collaborate with game designers, developers, artists, producers, and marketing.
• Maintain organized project files and workflows and meet deadlines.
• Assist with shooting, lighting, and audio when required.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and versatile Creative Artist to join our gaming studio. The ideal candidate should have experience in video editing, motion graphics, animation, VFX, and 2D/3D content creation, with the ability to shape creative concepts, pacing, and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver long-form, short-form, vertical videos, cutdowns, and marketing creatives.

• Assemble footage, create rough cuts, and refine videos through to final delivery.

• Handle color correction, audio cleanup, music/SFX, basic motion graphics, VFX, and titling.

• Create engaging 2D/3D animations and visual assets for games, marketing, and social media.

• Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and visual treatments based on project requirements.

• Create 3D models, animations, and renders using Blender.

• Use AI and generative AI tools for ideation, image/video generation, asset creation, and creative experimentation.

• Develop effective AI prompts to generate and refine creative content.

• Prepare and optimize content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, web, and other platforms.

• Collaborate with game designers, developers, artists, producers, and marketing teams.

• Manage project files and media efficiently and maintain organized workflows.

• Handle multiple projects, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines.

• Assist with shooting, camera, lighting, and audio when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of professional experience in video editing, creative design, animation, motion graphics, or VFX.

• Strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, storytelling, and visual composition.

• Strong skills in video editing, motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and VFX/compositing.

• Proficiency in AI tools and AI prompting.

• Basic to intermediate Unity knowledge and understanding of game workflows.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Strong portfolio/reel demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, animation, VFX, and 2D/3D work.
