Job summary

GlowUp Kuwait in Khanpur, Pakistan, seeks a Senior Architect to lead design and development of architectural projects. You will collaborate with clients, contractors and stakeholders to create innovative, functional designs that meet goals and budgets.

You will oversee junior architects, manage timelines and resources, conduct site visits, and coordinate with engineers and consultants to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and construction methods.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Willingness to work on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the design process from concept development to construction documentation.
• Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and develop design solutions that meet their needs.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively.
• Conduct site visits to ensure that construction is progressing as per the approved designs.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and other consultants to ensure project success.
• Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on technical issues as needed.
