Job summary

SafeHarbor Logistics in Khanpur Pakistan is seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team. The role requires reading blueprints, constructing and repairing metal pieces, and ensuring precise fits using various tools and welding techniques.

The successful candidate will read and interpret technical drawings, measure, cut, shape, and join metal parts, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. This contract position offers visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, drills, grinders, etc.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects/materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and other specifications
• Measure, cut, shape, and join metal parts using various tools such as shears, saws, drills, welders, and grinders
• Use hand tools to smooth out rough edges and ensure proper fit
• Inspect finished pieces for quality assurance
• Repair damaged or worn metal structures
• Collaborate with team members to plan projects and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety regulations at all times
