Job summary

SummitLab is seeking a Contract Fitter in Multan to assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and machinery per specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring precisely, and using grinders, lathes, and hand tools.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed during all assembly and maintenance tasks. A strong mechanical background and relevant trade certification are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using hand tools and machines such as grinders or lathes.
• Ability to read measurements accurately.
• Basic understanding of welding techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good physical stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid certification in relevant trade.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and assembly procedures.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Cut, shape, and fit materials using hand tools or machines such as grinders or lathes.
• Assemble components by welding, bolting or riveting.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery or systems and make necessary repairs.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during assembly and maintenance processes.
