Job summary

SecureLine in Multan is seeking a skilled Carpenter for a contract role. You will construct, install and repair structures and fixtures from wood and other materials, measuring and shaping parts to match specifications on site.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating hand and power tools safely, and maintaining high quality with attention to detail. Accommodation will be provided for the contract duration; candidates of all genders are welcome.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of different carpentry techniques and tools.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent measuring skills.
• Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Biometric passport required for security purposes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine project requirements.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares or marking gauges.
• Cut materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels or routers.
• Join materials together using nails, screws, staples or adhesives.
• Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings using levels or plumb bobs.
• Repair existing wooden structures or fixtures by replacing damaged parts.
• Sand surfaces after installation for smooth finish.
• Follow safety procedures at all times while working on job sites.
