The Content Writer is responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and well-researched articles, features, and interviews for print and digital magazine editions. The role requires creativity, strong storytelling ability, and a deep understanding of current trends, audience interests, and journalistic writing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, produce and distribute Evolve publication in Pakistan and UAE.
• Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies.
• Ensure written content is clear, coherent, grammar- and punctuation-correct, and follows editorial guidelines.
• Interview guests and prepare for the interview.
• Plan and host Evolve Podcast.
• Proofread written materials to identify and correct typos, spelling errors, and grammatical errors.
• Maintain consistency in style, tone, and formatting across all editorial materials.
• Assure high editorial and quality control standards by reviewing content for accuracy and factual correctness.
• Verify accuracy of information, quotes, and references used in written content.
• Prepare content for publication in Pakistan & UAE, including formatting, layout, and conversion for various platforms (print, web, digital).
• Choose supporting material such as images and illustrations.
• Coordinate multiple editorial projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering content on time.
• Craft engaging headlines, subheadings, and captions to enhance readability and attract readers.
• Conduct research to gather information and data required for accurate and informed content creation.
• Adhere to the organization’s or publication’s style guide, enforcing consistency.
• Organize published and unpublished content to facilitate retrieval and referencing.
• Ensure content complies with legal requirements, copyright laws, and ethical guidelines.
• Manage social media and SEO to draw attention to all Evolve content.
• Any other tasks may be assigned, and the writer may be called upon to take on tasks and duties from other departments or peers, fostering adaptability and teamwork.
• Research, write, and edit articles, features, and opinion pieces for the magazine.
• Conduct interviews with industry professionals, influencers, and notable personalities.
• Generate original story ideas and contribute to editorial planning.
• Ensure all content aligns with the magazine’s editorial tone, style, and theme.
• Collaborate with editors, photographers, and designers to develop compelling layouts.
• Proofread and fact-check all written materials for accuracy and clarity.
• Meet strict publication deadlines for both print and online versions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, lifestyle topics, and emerging news relevant to the magazine’s audience.

Requirements
