Role Overview:

We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist who can develop high-quality, authoritative content that strengthens Octopus Digital’s brand, product visibility, thought leadership, and discoverability across global markets.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer and researcher with a strong understanding of B2B technology content, SEO, and AI-powered content discovery. They should understand how search engines and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity discover, interpret, summarize, and surface information.

The role will involve creating content that is valuable to human audiences while also being structured and optimized for search and AI-driven discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop blogs, articles, website content, value propositions, case studies, LinkedIn content, newsletters, press releases, campaign copy, and other marketing assets.
• Translate complex technology, industrial, and digital transformation concepts into clear, engaging, and commercially relevant content.
• Research industry trends, customer pain points, market questions, and emerging topics to identify valuable content opportunities.
• Develop content around AI, GenAI, Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, digital transformation, data, automation, and industrial technology.
• Support executive thought leadership, contributed articles, podcasts, webinars, media opportunities, and other external communications.
• Develop pillar content, topic clusters, supporting articles, FAQs, and other knowledge-rich content that establish topical authority.
• Apply SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) principles to improve content discoverability across traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms.
• Develop and optimize content for discoverability across platforms such as Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
• Structure content so that key information is clear, authoritative, factual, well-supported, and easily interpretable by search engines and AI systems.
• Use AI tools for research, ideation, content analysis, personalization, drafting, editing, and optimization, while maintaining originality, accuracy, and strong editorial standards.
• Monitor content performance and AI/search visibility and use insights to continuously improve the content strategy.
• Collaborate with product, sales, subject-matter experts, and leadership teams to develop accurate and credible content.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to produce excellent, original B2B content.
• Excellent written and verbal English with strong grammar, storytelling, editing, and communication skills.
• Strong research skills and the ability to understand and simplify technical and complex subjects.
• Good understanding of B2B content marketing, SEO, search intent, keyword research, and content strategy.
• Familiarity with AI-powered search and content discovery, including concepts such as AEO, GEO, and AI Optimization.
• Understanding of how LLMs and AI-powered platforms discover, interpret, and surface information.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work with subject‑matter experts and transform technical knowledge into compelling business content.
• Experience with B2B technology, SaaS, industrial technology, engineering, automation, or digital transformation will be an advantage.
