Job summary

SafeHarbor Logistics in Gujrat, Pakistan, is seeking a Construction Manager to lead major projects from planning through completion. You will drive project plans, budgets, and resource allocation while coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to ensure progress aligns with expectations.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, conducting site visits for quality and safety, managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management or a similar role.
• Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, techniques, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and exceptional communication skills.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to construction projects in India.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
• Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of the project.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and safety standards are being met.
• Communicate with clients regarding project updates, changes, and any issues that may arise.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and making cost-saving decisions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
