Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and patient attitude towards the elderly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record if required.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to elderly individuals including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with medication management as needed.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with the elderly individual.
• Monitor changes in health or behavior and report concerns to supervisor or family members.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up.
• Accompany the elderly individual to appointments or outings as needed.
