Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Civil Drafter role based in Lahore. The Civil Drafter will prepare detailed engineering and construction drawings based on civil engineering designs and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating technical drawings, plans, and layouts; revising drawings according to engineer and architect feedback; and ensuring all documentation complies with relevant standards and codes. The role also involves coordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers to clarify design details, maintaining organized drawing files, and supporting the preparation of drawings for permits, bidding, and construction. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Civil Engineering Drafting and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear, buildable plans.
• Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, including understanding scales, dimensions, and construction detailing.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for civil and structural projects.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering documents and apply local building standards and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions simultaneously.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Lahore.
• Prior experience (2-3 years) in an architecture, engineering, or construction environment is an advantage.
