CERP Summer Internship Program

TheCERP Summer Internship Programoffers a unique opportunity for both national and international students to gain practical experience in Pakistan’s development sector. Lasting betweensix to ten weeks(can be extend up totwelve weeks), the program provides participants with an immersive experience that combineshands-on project work,technical skill development, andnetworking opportunities. The program aims to develop the expertise needed for impactful careers in the development sector.

Based in Lahore, Pakistan, CERP is a leading independent social impact organization focused on improving decision-making through rigorous research, advanced analytics, capacity building, data collection, and advisory services.

There is a tremendous amount of data collected but often, little emphasis is put on properly analyzing it to inform crucial decisions.CERP brings a world-class skill set to clean, collate and make sense of the data todraw deeper insights and ultimately actionable intelligence – deploying data and evidence to drive betterdecisions, and eventually high-impact reforms across multiple sectors.In more than a decade since its inception, CERP’s past work has been supported by prominent funding organizations such as the World Bank, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMFG), Asian Development Bank, UK Aid, and UNDP, among others.

Project Matching & Experience at CERP

As part of the program, interns will be matched with CERP research projects, services, or enablers rolesbased on theirabilities, relevance, and project demands. This also provides an opportunity forfield experience. Interns fromnational universitieswill receive astipend, andinternational studentsmay participate via their university’s support structures.
