Job summary

PrimeLedger Associates in Lahore, Pakistan is hiring a full-time Cashier to manage customer transactions, maintain accurate sales records, and provide friendly service. You will operate the POS system, balance the cash drawer, and help keep the checkout area orderly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong math skills, excellent communication in English (Urdu preferred), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Visa to work in Pakistan is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
• Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
• Strong communication in English; Urdu is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with purchases.
• Operate cash register and handle all transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Count money in cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure prices are accurate on products and resolve discrepancies.
• Process returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Keep track of inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies.
