Job summary

A leading logistics company in Karachi is seeking a Business Development Manager with 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding. In this role, you will drive sales growth through client relationship management and the development of customized logistics solutions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and strong knowledge of air and sea freight. This is an onsite position with competitive work timings from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets.

Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in air freight, sea freight, LCL/FCL, project cargo, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions. This role requires strong industry knowledge, a proactive sales mindset, and the ability to build long‑term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets in freight forwarding and logistics services.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Prepare and present customized logistics solutions and competitive quotations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with customers.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, and overseas agents to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Track sales performance, pipeline, and revenue growth through regular reporting.
  • Stay updated with international trends, shipping routes, and freight market fluctuations.
  • Represent ACB Logistics at industry forums, exhibitions, and business meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in sales/business development within freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight (LCL/FCL), and customs clearance procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience: 3+ Years

Work Timings / Day: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Alternate Saturdays 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
