Astrik Marketplace, Inc. is seeking a meticulous Book Formatter for our Karachi, Pakistan team to craft professional layouts with strong typography, spacing, and hierarchy.

You will create polished, print-ready files and prepare digital-ready formats for multiple platforms. Applicants should have proven experience in book formatting, solid Word skills, and familiarity with InDesign and KDP publishing to ensure consistency across chapters, front/back matter, images, tables, headers/footers, and

Responsabilidades

• Format books accurately according to guidelines.
• Ensure typography, spacing and hierarchy are consistent across pages.
• Produce print-ready and digital-ready final files and validate specs.
• Utilize InDesign for complex layouts and coordinate with KDP when needed.

Book Formatter

• Proven experience in book formatting/typesetting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Ability to create polished, premium-quality layouts with strong typography, spacing, hierarchy, and consistency.
• Experience formatting different genres, trim sizes, front/back matter, chapters, images, tables, headers/footers, and page numbering.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formatting specifications accurately.
• Ability to prepare clean, print-ready and digital-ready files.
• Knowledge of the following is a plus:
• Adobe InDesign and other professional formatting tools.
• Amazon KDP publishing.
• Publishing across multiple digital platforms.
