Pintern seeks a part-time Research Associate to support a non-fiction book project in Karachi. You will research lives and contributions of selected individuals, gather material from archives, libraries, newspapers, and published works in Urdu and English.

You’ll conduct interviews, fact-check, cite sources, and prepare organised research files. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Journalism, Mass Communication, Urdu/English Literature or History with 1–2 years of research experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Journalism, Mass Communication, Urdu/English Literature or History.
• 1–2 years’ research or feature-writing experience (final-year students welcome)
• Strong reading and writing in both Urdu and English.
• Accuracy, discretion and good organisation.
