Job summary

The Briefed is seeking a backend developer to build and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, integrating RESTful APIs, and collaborating with front-end teams.

The role emphasizes real-time features with Socket.io, performance optimization, security, and clean, well-documented code. You'll work with MongoDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL and modern JS frameworks like React/Next.js, staying current with CI/CD and cloud basics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in Node.js development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
• Experience with Socket.io or WebSocket-based applications.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of Git and software development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
