Job description

We are in search of a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining server-side applications and databases as well as working with front-end developers to build efficient and user-friendly websites and applications. The Back-End Developer will be responsible for writing clean scalable code and ensuring the security and functionality of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using modern programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby.
• Design and implement efficient databases to store, organize and retrieve data.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot issues with existing systems and implement solutions for improved functionality.
• Ensure the security of our systems by implementing proper authentication and authorization protocols.
• Optimize application performance by conducting regular testing, debugging and code reviews.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in back-end development to continuously improve our systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of back-end development principles such as database design, API development, server-side scripting, etc.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby.
• Experience working with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with database management systems MySQL, MongoDB is preferred.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and experience implementing security measures is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Remuneration and Location

Salary: $1300 per month. Location: Karachi.
