Job summary

Algo+ USA in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a Data Engineer (Azure Platform) with 4-5 years of BI and data management experience to design scalable data warehouses and build Azure pipelines.

You will work with clients and teams, develop Spark jobs with Databricks/PySpark, and create dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or Qlik. On-site role with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or a related field with 4-5 years in BI/data management.
• Strong SQL and SparkSQL skills.
• Experience with Python for data tasks.
• Hands-on Databricks/PySpark experience.
• Proficient in Power BI; other tools a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Platform components.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data warehouse solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Build and maintain Azure Data Factory ETL pipelines.
• Develop Spark jobs using Databricks and PySpark.
• Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams for project delivery.
• Create dashboards/reports using BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/MicroStrategy/Qlik).
• Manage data access layers securely.
• Engage with stakeholders to deliver actionable data solutions.
