Job summary

ACCA Careers in Lahore seeks an accounting/finance professional to ensure timely financial recording, produce reports, and maintain strong internal controls. You will collaborate with non-financial staff across the organization to gather information and identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

The role covers full set accounting, monthly consolidations, budgeting, and liaising with banks, investors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting; audit firm experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English and Urdu.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate records of all daily transactions.
• Process invoices.
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Update internal systems with financial data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Participate in financial audits.
• Track bank deposits and payments.
• Assist with budget preparation.
• Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial information.
• Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Liaise with internal and external audits.
• Develop relationships with banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Handle full set accounting including daily functions, book-keeping, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly consolidated group accounts & financial analyses.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Join the annual operative budgeting process.
• Review income tax returns & statutory reports.
• Handle ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by superior.
