Zones, a global IT solutions provider, is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Planner in Islamabad to develop and execute spend management, optimize inventory, and advise internal teams on purchasing options.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of offshore/outsource experience in a sales/ops/supply chain context, with IT product knowledge. Competitive benefits include insurance and pension, with evening shift timings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• 1–2 years experience in an Offshore/Outsourced model in a combined sales/operation/supply chain function; reseller hardware/software industry preferred.
• General understanding of information technology products and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers/vendors to secure best overall price considering price, availability, payment terms, shipping, return privileges, timely delivery.
• Manage inventory to ensure product availability while minimizing aging inventory and obsolescence.
• Provide thought leadership to sales/customer organizations on purchasing and inventory management.
• Manage execution of POs to suppliers based on demand, cycle time, location, availability, and price.
• Collaborate with distributors and manufacturers to forecast inventory requirements by warehouse location.
• Provide spend management cradle-to-grave for assigned book of business.
• Identify and execute cost savings (TCO initiatives) for the assigned book.
• Develop, engage and maintain alternate sources for constrained products.
