Job summary

Trinet Group seeks an Associate Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and release applications and platform capabilities that support the organization’s technology solutions.

You will participate in the SDLC, focus on development and debugging, and follow coding standards while incorporating modern UI frameworks and AI capabilities. The role is 100% office-based, located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software using Java, Python, or other object-oriented languages.
• Experience with UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with RAG and Generative AI technologies, AI agent development.
• Strong understanding of coding best practices, UI and back-end architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams.
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products/solutions and enhancements for existing systems.

Job Summary

The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and releasing applications, platform capabilities, and integrations that support the organizations technology solutions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of new products/solutions, as well as enhancements, updates, and issue resolution for existing systems. 55%
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging. 10%
• Follow established coding standards and best practices, contributing through hands-on coding. 10%
• Develop unit tests and automated test scripts in support of a test-driven development (TDD) approach. 5%
• Leverage coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) for code generation, review, and test creation (good to have). 5%
• Build rapid prototypes and proof of concepts (POCs) to validate new ideas and solutions. 5%
• Should be comfortable working independently or collaborating with othe%
