Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking an Associate Manager – Treasury at its Head Office in Lahore, Pakistan. The role focuses on establishing reliable financial reporting and monitoring progress toward organizational objectives.

You will oversee cash positions, liquidity, banking relations, reconciliations, and treasury reporting, ensuring timely month-end closings and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in commerce/finance/mathematics/statistics is required.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• 5+ years in retail business is preferred.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and liquidity to ensure funding adequacy.
• Support cash flow forecasting and monitor actual cash flows against forecasts.
• Manage banking relationships and day-to-day banking activities.
• Oversee sales, bank and payment reconciliations including card/QR settlements.
• Monitor and resolve unreconciled transactions within timelines.
• Review treasury postings including bank charges and fund transfers.
• Coordinate bank account setups, mandates, and signatories.
• Prepare daily and monthly treasury reports and month-end submissions.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and controls and coordinate with auditors.

JOB TITLE

Associate Manager – Treasury | Head Office | Lahore Pakistan

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Manager – Finance is responsible for establishing reliable financial reporting system within MAF Retail to monitor the progress of the organization's objectives and provide stakeholders with relevant financial data for the decision-making process.

ROLE DETAILS – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Monitor daily cash positions, liquidity, and banking facilities to ensure adequate funding for business requirements.
• Support cash flow forecasting, funding requirements, and monitoring of actual cash flows against forecasts.
• Manage banking relationships and coordinate day-to-day banking activities and requirements.
• Oversee sales, bank, and payment reconciliations, including card, QR, and other electronic payment settlements.
• Monitor and resolve outstanding, unreconciled, and settlement-related transactions within agreed timelines.
• Review Treasury-related accounting postings, including bank charges, settlements, and fund transfers.
• Coordinate bank account, mandate, and authorized signatory updates, ensuring required approvals and documentation.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and periodic Treasury reports and ensure timely submission of month-end reports to Corporate Retail Treasury.
• Ensure compliance with Treasury policies and controls, identify financial risks, and coordinate with Accounting, Treasury, banks, and auditors on related matters.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor Degree in Commerce /Finance / Mathematics / Statistics
• 5+ year of experience in a similar role
• 5+ years in retail businessis preferred
• High level of organization
• High attention to detail
• Goodproblem-solvingskills
• Ability to communicate and present information
