Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or doctoral degree in Nursing or related healthcare discipline.
• Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or above.
• Leadership experience in nursing education, curriculum development, academic administration, and faculty development.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements for nursing education, preferably in Pakistan.
• Strong record of educational innovation, research, and securing external funding.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of all undergraduate nursing and midwifery programmes.
• Lead curriculum development, review, and implementation ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Promote innovative teaching modalities including digital learning and simulations.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen student recruitment, enrolment, and engagement; support academic progress.
• Mentor faculty and support professional growth and leadership development.
• Represent the School at committees and with accrediting bodies and stakeholders.
• Seek research funding and supervise student research in Masters/PhD programmes.
