Job summary

FrieslandCampina is seeking an Assistant Trade Category Manager in Karachi to lead category strategies within Sales & Marketing. The role requires developing and executing corporate plans to boost volume, market share and distribution while coordinating promotions, merchandising and channel-specific plans.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical, presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in sales/trade marketing.
• Thorough knowledge of Sales & Distribution.
• Strong analytical, presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop & execute the corporate plan for the category to deliver on volume, market share, market execution and distribution objectives.
• Create and manage trade marketing activity calendar including trade and consumer promotions, merchandising tools/activities, channel and customer specific plans with stakeholders.
• Manage discounts budget for the category with appropriate allocation across activity and channel types.
• Coordinate with brand, supply chain, finance and sales teams to drive execution on corporate plan objectives and monthly trade plans.
• Develop and execute launch plans for NPDs and successful launches.
• Coordinate with field teams to drive category objectives and growth.
• Drive visibility and in-store execution across trade for the category.
• Use market intel, category and shopper insights and KPI analysis to develop competitive strategies.

• Candidate must possess Bachelors/Master’s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant industry preferably in sales/trade marketing roles.
• Thorough knowledge of Sales & Distribution
• Ability to effectively work in teams and collaborate with stakeholders
• Candidate must possess good analytical, presentation and negotiation skills
• Develop & execute corporate plan for the category to deliver on volume, market share, market execution and distribution objectives
• Create and manage trade marketing activity calendar including trade and consumer promotions, merchandising tools/activities, channel and customer specific plans through effective coordination with all stakeholders
• Effectively manage discounts budget for the category with appropriate allocation across activity and channel types
• Strong coordination with brand, supply chain, finance and sales teams for driving execution on corporate plan objectives and monthly trade plans for the category
• Develop and execute effective launch plans for NPDs successful launches
• Coordinate with field teams to effectively drive category annual and monthly objectives, finding opportunities and executing targeted plan for driving growth
• Driving excellent visibility and in-store executions across trade for the category
• Using market intel, category and shopper insights and kpi analysis to develop successful competitive strategies for winning in market
